Work pattern: Hybrid – up to 2 days of remote work/week, offices in Paris, with regular travel to Italy and other European markets Compensation: €55–70k depending on profile

The Company
Pysae is a software-only company of 40 people building SaaS solutions for the public transport sector. Our platform covers real-time vehicle tracking, passenger information and operations management for bus and coach operators — designed to improve operational efficiency and integrate deeply with our clients' IT systems.
We support more than 100 clients, including major operators such as Transdev, Keolis and RATP, and equip more than 10,000 buses across mainland France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia. With a strong footprint in France, we are now expanding globally — and we're looking for a talented engineer to support our Italian sales team and, more broadly, new opportunities across Europe.
Your Mission
As a Solution Engineer, you are the bridge between our technology and our clients. You combine a sales mindset with deep technical mastery: you understand the product inside out, and you know how to explain it clearly to a CIO, an operations director, or a transport operator's IT team. Being a strong communicator and educator is essential; your job is to make complex things accessible.
You work hand in hand with our product and engineering teams, close enough to quickly assess what the software can do, what it can't, and how to address each client question with precision. In return, you become a key feedback channel back to the technical team by bringing the voice of the field into product decisions. Working alongside our Italy sales rep and the broader international sales team, you bring technical credibility at every stage, from the first demo to go-live, and play an active role in turning prospects into customers.
Your Responsibilities
Pre-sales & sales support
Partner with our sales teams — Italy first, then other European markets — through discovery, demo and closing
Run product demos tailored to each client: architecture, integrations, transport use cases
Own technical pre-sales topics: security, infrastructure, interoperability, IT integration
Lead the technical sections of RFP responses
Deployments & client success
Support deployments on Italian and European accounts, from kick-off to go-live
Act as the link between Pysae's product/engineering teams and client stakeholders
Product feedback
Channel client needs, objections and edge cases back to product and engineering
Help shape how we position and adapt the product for international markets
Your Profile
Languages: Italian native, fluent English, French a plus
Experience: 3–7 years as a Solution Engineer, technical Pre-sales or Consultant, ideally in B2B SaaS
Technical depth: system architecture, APIs, integrations, cybersecurity fundamentals — enough to hold your own with a CIO
Sales mindset: you see a great demo as a commercial act and enjoy closing
Communication: you make complex things accessible to technical and non-technical audiences
Close to product: you work hand in hand with engineering and carry client feedback back inside
Autonomous: you prioritize well in a fast-moving, not-yet-fully-defined environment
Field-oriented: travel across Italy and Europe is part of the job, and you look forward to it
Entrepreneurial: you enjoy building, not just executing
